Pre- Ballet 


(ages 3-4)

This class is designed for ages 3-4 years of age  who want to express their independence without the assistance of mom or dad. Dancers will have fun learning  movement of the arms and feet, as well as, basic ballet steps to popular children's music through singing and movement games. Props such as pom pons, hula hoops, parachutes, books and bean bags are used to enhance the learning experience.   Dancers will also be taught to travel across the floor, learn to count music , and maintain proper ballet etiquette in class.

Creative Movement/Tumbling is a class for ages 3-4 that focuses on appropriate etiquette, respect for others, and self-confidence.  There is a class theme each month, a familiar format for the dancers,  and introduces young students to ballet, and basic tumbling skills through imagination activities, movement games singing, and obstacle courses to enhance gross and fine motor skills.

This class is for dancers 4-5 years old.  This class is built on the basic movements learned in the Pre-Ballet class but is still appropriate for the first-time dancer. At this level, students will learn more challenging tap and ballet skills through imagination activities, movement games and singing. Dancers will enjoy learning basic ballet and tap terminology along with fun and engaging games.

Combo II is a class for 6-7 years old and is a combination class of 30 minutes of Ballet and 30 minutes of Tap. Dancers will enjoy this interactive class that builds on basic movements learned in Combo I combination class, but is still appropriate for first-time dancers. The Ballet portion of class includes an introduction to the ballet barre and learning more challenging steps. The Tap portion of the class will concentrate on building confidence through mastering more difficult patterns and steps.
